Ok so it's been a couple of days and I figure it's time to stop wollowing in depression and discuss my extreme outrage at the intelligence level of this country. We have the first president who has ever blown a huge surplus budget and in turn given us one of the largest defecits we've ever had, the first president to ever go to two wars (one of which he outright lied to the world about his reasons, got caught, and still refused to admit he was wrong) , and quite possibly a president who has made more grammatical mistakes while speaking than anyother and yet we STILL voted him back to office????? I don't get it.
Just FYI I'm starting early for 2008 ---- Obama for president!!!
Christine brought up a great point that got me to thinking....the next election we have, I will be 27...that's almost 30! I can't believe it.
On a side note, I've decided to begin my political career soon and very soon. What is he talking about you may ask? I'm getting involved in the Democratic Party for Tulsa and plan on making a bid for City Council or School Board or something to start paving the way for the wonderful world of politics Christine and I may enter into. In short, I want change and I plan on paving the road for it.
